DESIGN PROJECT

MODERN MAN CAVE

We're calling this project out 'Modern Man Cave' because of the masculine design elements combined with a modern, sleek touch. Our client is a single guy, looking to update his home to to something with a little more style. We created something perfect for entertaining friends or just Sunday morning coffee. This isn't your typical 'man cave' as the modern look still holds a feel of elegance and charm. So grab a whisky on the rocks and come see each room.

DINING

Starting with Maddie's favorite room in the house - the dining and entryway areas. These rooms make a bold statement to any guest first entering the house. The most drastic change was adding the dark textured wallpaper on the console wall, adding a little warmth, while still maintaining a modern vibe. This made the house look less stark and close the room in for a cozy wine and dine evening.

LIVING ROOM

The living room is designed, again, to comfortably seat a large group of people. The corner bouclé chair makes for the perfect reading corner. This specific chair was already owned, but we have one on our site almost identical here.

COCKTAIL LOUNGE

The bar area couldn't be more perfect for an evening Manhattan or even a morning espresso. The leather and brass elements make this the perfect touch to any bachelor's home.

KITCHEN

The owner wasn't happy with the open area in between the kitchen cabinets, so we added the shelf and artificial greenery to give it some interest and fill the gap.

BEDROOM

This bedroom is where all your wallpaper dreams come true. It's the perfect backdrop for these natural wood nightstands and gorgeous bed. This room makes waking up early hard to do.
