CALIFORNIA COOL
For this coastal family who recently relocated to Scottsdale from LA, our interior designers at Guided Home Design wanted to incorporate California blues and a coastal, eclectic vibe throughout the home's interior.
Check out the main living areas in this gorgeous home, designed by Maddie Cullen, our Director of Interior Design, Lily Quintal, interior designer, and Madison Richie, design assistant.
THE DINING ROOM
There is something special about designing a custom furniture piece for one of our clients. For this dining room, we worked with Citizen Wood Co to design this beautiful custom 85” round white oak dining table. The finished product was better than we could have ever imagined.
Next, we added our Jude Chairs, a teak wood chair with tapered legs. This provides comfortable seating while adding instant interest to this room with the simple cane detail.
To pair with this statement table, we had to add a unique piece of lighting. This show-stopping Arteriors Tilda Chandelier was the perfect touch of California Cool to complete this gorgeous room.
Lastly, to add a pop of greenery, we used a large white bowl and faux succulents.
THE LIVING ROOM
Our client needed extra closed storage and a lot of shelving for their growing book collection, so we kept that in mind while designing this built-in. We wanted something that was unique, + functional, and we believe we achieved that. Although the focal point of the room is the built-in, the furnishings, and accessories throughout are truly what completed the space and gave it a lived-in, eclectic look.
THE ENTRYWAY
Lastly, we accessorized this modern console table with beautiful wooden decor pieces, coffee table books, and pillar candles. Paired with the client's unique art piece, this entryway was designed to stand out.
